Holder of two Bachelor degrees, one in Law awarded by the University of Seville, and the other in Criminology awarded by the European University of Madrid. She practiced the position of Temporary Judge from 1998 to 2004, the year in which she was appointed Temporary Public Prosecutor in a merit based selection process, and has held said position at the Prosecutor´s Office of the Provincial Court of Seville since said year. Legal expert specialising in Criminal Law, Dispute Resolution and Mediation. Expert in Juvenile Justice. Expert in mediation. Under-graduate University Professor at the European University of Madrid. Honorary Collaborator of the Hispalense University. Professor of the Expert Course on Victimology at the Hispalense University. She has collaborated on many Courses, Seminars and Conferences. Author of various articles published in legal journals such as Cuadernos de Política Criminal, and in other specialised journals. She has also collaborated on several books and is the author of a monograph, titled Malos tratos habituales a la mujer, published by the Publisher Javier Bosch in Barcelona and by the Externado University of Colombia.
